I attended Arizona State University and graduated from the WP Carey School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and am currently a partner and Certified Financial Planning Professional at Thrivent Financial.

I was raised in a loving Catholic home.  I attended church each Sunday and the Catholic traditions were very important to my family.  I attended Catholic School in grade school and high school.  In college I strayed from my Christian walk like a lot of young adults.  I stopped attending church regularly and began to question my faith.  Looking back, I realize that I was not fully surrendered to Christ and struggled with the sins of control and pride.

In my senior year of college I met my future wife, Brianna.  She was the most attractive personality I had met in my life. When I asked her where her joy came from she answered, Jesus Christ.

During our courtship I attended Young Life events with her. We discussed her relationship with Jesus and the impact He had on how she viewed herself, her earthly relationships and her relationship with God.

I don’t know the date, but sometime during our courtship I was faced with a situation that would determine my professional future that I could not control.  MY talents, MY influence, MY “everything” could not determine the outcome.  That day I prayed to Jesus, asked for forgiveness and gave up control of my life and asked Him to be the Lord of my life.

A peace that I had never experienced entered my life.  I had fully surrendered to Jesus.

Since that day, I make a daily decision to trust in Jesus and not my own talents.  I strive to be obedient to God’s Word and apply the sacred instructions that God has given us.

I am a sinner who needs salvation and the grace of Jesus is given to me. I pray every day that I will glorify Him through my thoughts and actions.
