Disciple: A study in the Gospel of Mark
“Follow Me”
-Jesus
I have been a Jesus follower (aka ‘disciple’ in the Bible) for a few years now. I have found it to be a path that leads to justice, peace, grace, reconciliation and life abundant (as well as lament, pain, anger and frustration).
In a time when darkness seems to reign, the light of Jesus, for me, has been a guide and a source of hope, grace, joy and peace. I have learned a lot about Jesus and what it means to follow him by studying the Gospel of Mark.
I want to invite you to join us Sundays at DSBC at 9:30 or 11 AM, in-person or online, as we study the Gospel of Mark where we’ll discover the wisdom, power and joy of living as a follower of Jesus, and learn how to better live according to his way.
To go along with this series, I will be leading a deep-dive group study of Mark that will both explore the scripture and equip you with the tools for further study. Whether you have engaged in Bible study for years, or if this is your first time, this group is for you! I’d love to have you join me! Seriously, it’s gonna be a lot of fun!
