New Playground

 

Let’s make sure that every kid, regardless of ability, feels welcome and has a great time on our campus!

One of our core values as a church family is generosity, striving to live as the hands and feet of Jesus by providing for the material and emotional needs of our community and others in need around the world. It is because of this value that we invested over $500,000 in a new elevator for our 2-story kids building. We believe that every child, regardless of ability, should be able to participate in the fun, engaging ministries hosted on our campus.

The only thing remaining on campus that is not all-abilities accessible is the playground in front of our office. This playground has served us for decades, and has outlived its lifecycle. It is time for a new one (as pastor Caleb shared in this video)! 

This gives us an opportunity to invest in a new playground for the kids in our church family and broader community. We have been working with a local vendor on and have chosen to move forward with a new design that provides a pathway and features that will be accessible to children of all-abilities.

The total cost of this project will be $100,000, of which, over half has already been secured!
