At Desert Springs, we believe faith grows deeper when we follow Jesus together. And where did Jesus do some of His most powerful teaching? At the table—inviting people from all backgrounds, perspectives, and walks of life to sit, share, and learn together.
That’s exactly what we’re about. Our discipleship model is built around conversation—bringing diverse groups together at tables to wrestle with important, sometimes difficult, issues and practice the way of Jesus in real time.
But right now, we’re limited in the amount of tables we can host indoors. We need more room for tables!
We’re remodeling our Worship Center to create a flexible space in the back third of the building, making room for 27 tables—double our current capacity. This expansion will allow more people to engage in life-giving, transformative conversations that shape hearts, minds, and our community.
To make this vision a reality, we’re committed to paying cash for the project, which is estimated at $250,000—or roughly $9,300 per table.

- Table-based training, lectures, and classes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why not flatten the entire floor?
In the larger campus plan, we intend to have a flat floor in the Worship Center. However, it is not financially feasible at this time. By limiting the project to the back portion of the room, we are able to add more indoor table-based gathering space for under $250,000.
Will this block the view of the stage?
We do not believe so. The room and chair layout, along with our projection screens provide visibility throughout the space.
How will we pay for this?
We are raising funds and intend to pay cash for the various phases of this project. We will not take on debt to accomplish this project.
