About Ashley

I grew up in a devoted Christian household; faith was an integral part in our family. I moved to the Valley in grade school and attended a local Baptist church with my family.  I spent my summers navigating rope courses at church camp, small youth group summer pool parties and Wednesday (and Sunday) night youth activities and worship. Baptized at the age of 10, I never realized just how important the foundation I was building in life would influence me as an adult. Young adulthood came with its fair share of ups and downs, broken hearts, tough classes, first jobs and difficult life lessons. It was in those quiet moments with God that I began learning to navigate life with him, that I truly understood what a true blessing it is to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

I graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Finance and have spent my entire career in personal financial management. I am currently a Vice President Wealth Planner with a private bank, holding various certifications and credentials. My professional background includes preparing comprehensive financial plans and analyses for high net worth clients specific to their personal goals and needs, and managing and maintaining client relationships.

I met my husband Jeremy five years ago and am a proud “bonus mom”, to two beautiful children.  While dating, Jeremy and I made it a priority in our relationship to find a church that felt like home for us both with a growing children’s ministry, and DSBC was it. We have enjoyed getting involved in i6eight mission trips to Rocky Point, volunteering on campus and getting our kids involved in the ever expanding youth group. I cherish the relationships and friendships I have built as a member of DSBC and I’m proud to be part of the ever growing church we’ve become; a place where others feel welcome regardless of their background or current path. I look forward to serving DSBC as a board member and can’t wait to see what God has in store for our church and in my life, for years to come
