About Sravani Murahari

I grew up in a Christian family and regularly attended church, but it wasn’t until my early twenties that I truly began building a personal relationship with God. During that time, I came to understand that He had come in search of me, loved me just as I was, and was gently drawing me deeper into His presence.

I began to see God’s faithfulness unfold in every stage of life—whether it was securing a job after graduation, finding a life partner who shares the same faith, or being welcomed into a family deeply involved in ministry. One of the most powerful testimonies of God’s hand in my life has been through my children. During the delivery of my first child, I had to undergo an emergency C-section when his heart rate dropped dangerously low—to just 55 beats per minute. But God had already arranged everything perfectly. Today, my son is a healthy, thriving 10-year-old. My daughter, born with a cognitive dermal sinus tract, underwent surgery at just eight months old. Before and after the procedure, she showed no signs of complications—God provided the right doctors at the right time and healed her completely. She is now five years old and doing wonderfully. Both of my children are living testimonies of God’s grace. Through these experiences, I’ve learned to lean on and trust Him more, finding strength, peace, and hope even in the most uncertain times. His Word has been my anchor, assuring me that He is always by my side—both in seasons of joy and in seasons of trial.

As I grew in my faith, God opened unexpected doors for ministry. While working in India, I was given the opportunity to join a group of friends to lead youth groups and minister to college students who didn’t yet know Jesus. It was a humbling and joyful experience to serve and to witness the transformation that happens when people encounter God’s love. I have come to recognize that when we make ourselves available to Him, God equips us and uses us for His glory. Every time I have surrendered my fears and doubts at His feet, He has shown up—sometimes in quiet whispers, sometimes in unmistakable ways.

For the past 11 years, our family has been part of DSBC, and we have been deeply blessed by its ministries. This church has played a vital role in shaping and strengthening our faith. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the church ministry team, which has been a meaningful part of my spiritual journey. Now, I sense God leading me to take the next step by serving as part of the Council of Servant Leaders (CSL)—continuing to support the church through prayer, leadership, and a willingness to serve wherever I am needed.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our church and congregation. My heart is committed to growing in Christ and serving with humility, grace, and a desire to follow God’s will. I trust that He will continue to lead and equip me for whatever He has in store.
