Spring Schedule

Lent & Holy Week

Spring is a season of transitioning from the cold frost of winter to the warm brightness of new life. It is also a time in which the church honors the life, death and resurrection of Jesus by observing Lent and Holy Week.

Lent (Feb 22nd – April 6th)

Lent is a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and generosity that begins on Ash Wednesday (February 22nd) and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday (April 6th).

During Sunday services in this season, we invite you to share communion as a group around tables stationed around the Worship Center. Individual elements will be available for those wishing to take communion in their seats.

On Sunday, February 26th we will host an all-church communion meal at 9:30am on the lawn.

Holy Thursday (April 6th)

Holy Thursday (or Maundy Thursday) commemorates Jesus washing the disciples feet (Maundy) and the Last Supper. On this day, we will host a Day of Prayer in our Worship Center from 7am – 7pm. We will have contemplative music playing, a relaxing atmosphere and multiple stations setup around the room for reflection & prayer.

Good Friday (April 7th)

Good Friday is a day set apart to reflect the crucifixion of Jesus. We invite you to join us for our reflective Good Friday service at 6pm.

Easter Sunday (April 9th)

Easter day is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus. Join us for one of our Easter services at 9:30 or 11am.

Discover the meaning of Lent

We invite you to purchase “Lent: The Season of Repentance and Renewal” a short book by Esau McCaulley which introduces the season of Lent, showing us how its prayers and rituals point us not just to our own sinfulness but also beyond it to our merciful Savior.
